Day 0 (19 June) Wheel Dip in the Pacific (June 19th)

The idea here is to dip the back wheel in the Pacific at the start of the trip, then dip the front wheel in the Atlantic 3700 miles later. So here I am at Fort Stevens (10 miles from Astoria) doing the obligatory dip. Water was warm enough for a swim. Then it was back to Astoria for orientation and planning for the long ride on Day 1 (tomorrow)
